FEEDING YOUR SPIRIT

By   Z E N I T H A    V I C T O R I A    B A D A I celebrate you all, I bless God for the strength to continue in Him. We would be looking at the part B of What You Feed Your Spirit Matters and as we look into this topic we ask the holy spirit to minister to our hearts in Jesus name Amen. The holy spirit is like a man riding a vehicle, and the vehicle represents our body. We know the popular road safety slogan, "Do not drink and drive" this is because the intake of   alcohol could lead this driver to cause an accident on the road, in other words we the condition of a driver matters for a safe drive.   Our spirit is a spiritual man, that has feelings, and just like human beings feel hungry he does to, but for spiritual food which is the word of God. The more we feed our spirit with the word of God the more he reminds us of the word of God and that is why the bible says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the wo...

THE SPIRIT: BOTH CRITICAL AND ESSENTIAL

B Y   Z E N I T H A    V I C T O R I A    B A D A I celebrate you all in Jesus name. Last week we rounded up our discussion on depression and Christian growth, we want to say thank you for your likes, comments and testimonies may the Lord perfect that which He has started in our lives. Amen. Today, we would be looking at WHAT YOU FEED YOUR SPIRIT MATTERS. It is going to be a two-part blog. We will be answering: THE WHO? THE WHY? And THE WHAT? On the subject of feeding your spirit. Questions to look at this week we will be the WHO? and the WHY? And next week we will be looking into the WHAT? As we go into this session it is important that we allow the Spirit of God ministers to our hearts in Jesus Name. First, let me lay a foundation that will help us understand that it is the spirit in us that makes us different from other animals. In Genesis 1:25-26, God made us to be like him. “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our ima...

IN THE LINE OF FIRE

By David Pam McQuel "According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor..." Philippians 1:20-22 NKJV In mid 1991 I was 20 years and a few months old, already two years in full time ministry, serving in a small church holding in a primary school. It was quiet a great moment in my life. The future was unsure but the hunger for God in my heart was beyond boiling point. My Senior Pastor then, was a great evangelist. He went to minister in a crusade and came back with some new friends for me, they were on fire for God. This three girls were in Junior high school and aged between 15 and 16. A revival had broken in their village, Where behind the famous Shere Hills Tourist site, through the three and the whole...

OPEN THE DOOR

By David Pam McQuel We live in exciting times! Its overwhelming that God left the treasures of the kingdom in fallible mortal hands. Luke 11:52 “What sorrow awaits you experts in religious law! For you remove the key to knowledge from the people. You don’t enter the Kingdom yourselves, and you prevent others from entering.” NLT There is such a profound truth in this rebuke as Jesus lashed out at the Pharisees who were considered in their day, the trustees of God's revelation. First, their action and practice attracts God's highest disapproval. In fact, the exclamation point reveals emotional reaction. Which means that these leaders stirred wrath and disgust. Second, althought they held the key to knowledge, they won't enter the kingdom, and won't let those who want to. It is sobering that although we are mere human beings, with frailties God chose us to entrust us with such loft responsibility. Lastly, the pain in Jesus' words is for the fac...

THE SPIRAL PARAMETERS OF MISSIONS

Most things start small. Chief example is human life. The biological catalysts for human life, the male sperm cannot be picked by the naked eye, yet humans of all shapes, heights and size spring out of it. Jesus Christ our Lord stated that a church that attracts the presence of God starts with a few as two or three! In His teachings through the parabolic illustrations, Jesus illustrated the kingdom of God and how it works with life of a mustard tree, whose seed is the smallest of all seeds yet exceeds all trees when planted and fully grown. Even though Jesus had large gatherings in His crusades and teaching seminars, one time they recorded 5,000 families that could total to over 20,000 people. Yet when leaving the earth to return to the Father, He left 11 men trusting them to turn the world to the Faith. In His last words as His return to the Father was underway, Jesus instructed emphatically, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will...
