WORSHIP GOD ALONE

Today we went out on a prayer trail and what a rich experience it was. Friends of mine, all totally new friends today gathered to pray for America, for Washington State and for Seattle.

A friend from Kenya, I from Nigeria/Ivory Coast and mostly everyone else was an Americans and Americans of Asian descent, nobody thought about that. We counted it a privilege to gather there. From Alki beach where we spent nearly 4 hours then to Balot where we gave another 2 hours. Nobody worried about food.

We are not alone. Since the Pandemic began, Christians have risen up in different cities, beaches and street corners to call on God. It has been truly inspiring.

One of the greatest realities of 2020 have left us with is the fragility of life on earth. We have grossly overrated ourselves. It is time to realize that God is supreme. We should worship God alone.

There are too many examples to give of Pastors and God’s anointed vessels that were very expressive. They became a rallying point for so many who were meditating on what God thinks of this moment. But four locations that were rallying cries:

Charges dropped against Tampa pastor who held services during stay-at-home order

Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne of the River at Tampa Bay church was charged with two misdemeanors.

The Pastor explain the effort the went to, to make and keep their church over and above the stipulated requirements: “The Lord has helped us secure our congregation,” the pastor said. “We have brought in 13 machines that basically kill every virus in the place. If someone walks through the door, it kills everything on them. If they sneeze it shoots it down at a 100 mph. It’ll neutralize it in split-seconds.

“So we have the most sterile building, I don’t know, in all of North America.”

The statement said the church “is doing, and will do, everything in our power to support the efforts of our wider community by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and take any other recommended measures to protect our people and keep them healthy and safe.”

“If anyone is either not feeling well or would prefer to take the precaution of remaining at home for their own health, we encourage them to do that and to continue to watch the services online,” the statement said.

Huntington Beach officials have expressed concern about Saturate OC, a religious workshop being held on the sand. Its organizers estimate that as many as 1,800 people attended for nearly two hours of musical performances, baptisms and prayers.

The city of Huntington Beach said in a statement that it “firmly supports the right of any religious group to worship,” but that they must follow permitting and safety protocols. “Unfortunately, the Saturate OC event promoters have not instituted safety protocols prescribed by the state and county, and they have refused to obtain a permit for their event,” the city said.

The event’s directors told The Times on Saturday they thought they were being singled out because of their religion.

“I think it’s more of a political statement than anything at this point, for people to actually shut down a worship service when there’s mass protests with hundreds of thousands of people in L.A. and then we’re getting highlighted in the news for spreading the virus,” said Parker Green, 34, who organized the recurring event with his wife Jessi, 35.

On Friday, the Greens provided participants with hand sanitizer and gave out hundreds of masks, they said, but they estimated at least 60% of people chose not to wear them. ~By ALEX WIGGLESWORTHPAUL SISSON

The sound of thousands of worshippers raising their hands and voices to the heavens drowned out the waves crashing on the shore of Cardiff State Beach Sunday evening. The socially un-distanced gathering was the latest in a series of church events that have recently been popping up on California's beaches in defiance of Gov. Gavin Newsom's coronavirus lockdown guidelines. While COVID-19 cases continue to surge in the state, barely a mask was in sight as worshippers stood shoulder to shoulder and sang and cheered in "Jesus' name."

Baptisms in California

While Feucht said on social media that according to state officials, 5000 people were in attendance, reports suggest that a little over 1000 attended. "It's just the most raw, organic, gritty gospel," Feucht told Fox News. "It's been very eclectic, very diverse in terms of people praying and singing. People got healed, saved, and delivered." One of these people, Heather Molchanoff of El Cajon, said that she finds it frustrating to be barred from practicing her faith with friends and family. "It's such a double standard, right?  You have protesters who can go out, do gatherings like this, and nothing is spoken about; if anything, it's praised," she said. "But then we’re not allowed to gather in church on Sunday."

In signature cut-off jeans and bare feet, Christian rock singer/evangelist/politician Sean Feucht stepped up to a microphone on a makeshift stage in the sand and bellowed to his audience: “You guys ready?”

Were they ever.

They had come by the carload — many from as far away as the Central Valley — to attend a Friday night show in Pismo Beach that was a combination concert, pep rally, social gathering and old-fashioned revival meeting, minus the big white tent.

California churches hold beach services, worship indoors in defiance of state ban 'We love Jesus and we want to worship and nothing's going to stop us from doing that' a mom of three says

On Sunday, more than 5,000 showed up on the beach in San Diego for a "Let Us Worship" event put on by worship leader Sean Feucht and his nonprofit, Hold the Line, where he baptized his own son, Ezra. "It's just the most raw, organic, gritty gospel," Feucht told Fox News. "It's been very eclectic, very diverse in terms of people praying and singing. People got healed, saved, and delivered."

So far, LET US WORSHIP has gone round 18 cities.

 The Minnesota revivals

Ministries hold daily services at site of George Floyd's death: 'From hatred to healing and hope' said Fox News. Tears are shed and lives are changed at the street corner where George Floyd died while in the custody of police officers in Minneapolis on Memorial Day.

A group of ministries -- Youth With a Mission (YWAM); Circuit Riders, a California-based missions movement; and Worldwide Outreach for Christ, a local church -- have been holding daily services at the epicenter that sparked protests around the world.

Pastor Curtis Farrar, whose church has been on the corner of 38th and Chicago for 38 years, has preached and had members of his congregation lead worship and prayer at the memorial site.

Jonathan Tremaine "JT" Thomas, a pastor from Ferguson, Mo., and founder of Civil Righteousness, brought a model of sharing personal stories of hope and healing, a message, and a time for worship and prayer for healing in the city that has seen protests turn to looting and rioting.

 The Seattle Revivals

It's a sight that brought comfort to some and consternation to many: A video taken in Seattle, Washington, earlier this summer shows a woman getting baptized outdoors in the city's Cal Anderson Park. She's flanked on either side by two women, offering her words of comfort and support, and surrounded by hundreds of people cheering her on — none of whom are wearing masks.

Up and down the West Coast, hundreds of evangelical Christians have gathered for outdoor church services, all calling for one goal: "Let Us Worship." Feucht isn't alone in his desire to host in-person church services. Since the pandemic began, pastors across the country have called for religious exceptions to shutdowns, while some churches that reopened have seen COVID-19 outbreaks and deaths among their congregations. ~Kelly McLaughlin For the Insider

An African-American woman has been filmed preaching to protesters within CHAZ, the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, telling them that only Jesus can save them, not Black Lives Matter or the Democratic Party.

Bevelyn Beatty, a pro-life advocate, entered the area to expose fake news reports about the movement currently occupying approximately 6-9 blocks in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighbourhood.

Video of the event, which was live-streamed to Beatty’s YouTube channel, shows the woman calling out the Democrats as harmful to the black community, suggesting a vote for Joe Biden would have a devastating impact on African-Americans.  ~Evelyn Rae, Coldronpool

Operation Paint Drop:

Bevelyn Beatty Created a Storm As She Pours Black Paint Over BLM Street I can just picture liberal heads exploding all over the world in unison….

Here is a BLACK woman, with a can of BLACK paint, wearing a #JesusMatters shirt, and saying she does NOT agree with BLM and she does NOT agree with defunding the police! ~Noah

But before Bevelyn and Emdee appeared in New York they had boldly confronted the Antifa/BLM ill-doomed CHAZ Republic of Seattle. They are kind of gangsters for Jesus.

These women have become no
t just popular but icons of resistance against government tyranny towards Christians. They are also gone on protest at the residence of the self-privileged mayor of Chicago Lori Lightfoot. There trip to California shed light and cause jaws to drop at the real poverty in California.

They have preached bolding in many abortion clinics across the country. They also have travelled to South Africa in 2017 and to England just before the pandemic and to France, always speaking about the Lord wherever they go. Although they are a bigger team now, Emdee remains the backbone where Bevelyn takes the heat as the spokesperson.

They are rightly loved because their main message is #JESUSMATTERS. Leftists and Black Lives Matter rioters just don’t have an idea how to contain these team. Emdee and Bevelyn have been arrested many times for standing for the truth and confronting evil.

But there message remains the same, #JESUSMATTERS

REPOSITIONING CAN MAKE YOU MORE EFFECTIVE

B Y    D A V I D     M C Q U E L Hello Everyone!   It has been a long while. The year 2022 has finally passed. And we are still here. God is to be glorified. We absolutely give God thanks.   I tried to review the year, looking backwards at my pleasure and displeasure with the year. I also did try to see where I failed, underperformed or missed the mark both set by God or by my heart. I always like to do an honest self-appraisal. I bear in mind that either lavishing praises on myself or ignoring things that should be fixed are not to my advantage. Transparency may hurt but I stand to gain first before someone else.   Here are a few things that I came to a conclusion on: 1.       I need to make certain necessary adjustments or changes or repositioning either on my character, my commitment, my determination or my effort. This is non-negotiable. I cannot continue to do things the way I did and expect a different result. I am impressed by European football. If there is s

THE RICH FAMILY IN OUR CHURCH

I'll never forget Easter 1946. I was 14, my little sister Ocy 12, and my older sister Darlene 16. We lived at home with our mother, and the four of us knew what it was like to do without many things. My dad had died five years before, leaving Mom with seven school kids to raise and no money. By 1946, my older sisters were married, and my brothers had left home. A month before Easter, the pastor of our church announced that a special Easter offering would be taken to help a poor family. He asked everyone to save and give sacrificially. When we got home, we talked about what we could do. We decided to buy 50 pounds of potatoes and live on them for a month. This would allow us to save $20 of our grocery money for the offering. Then we thought that if we kept our electric lights turned out as much as possible and didn't listen to the radio, we'd save money on that month's electric bill. Darlene got as many house and yard cleaning jobs as possible, and both of us baby sat fo

FIVE YEARS ON...

B Y   D A V I D    M c Q U E L HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL   But for us at the World Missions Centre, Abidjan, it is an even bigger day. Today is the 5 th anniversary of the launch of the World Missions Africa Blog.   When we launched on January 1, 2017, we had only on our hearts a message to share about the love of God through our Lord Jesus Christ and on our minds anxiety and questions if anyone at all will read the message we blog.   Here was our first blog post published on January 3, 2017: “Welcome to our blog. World Missions, Africa is making every effort to bring the love of Christ to all humanity. Primarily, we focus on  Africa  now in our physical activities. But with the online community, our efforts extends to the ends of the earth. Jesus died for all humanity. Every race, every ethnic group, every people, male or female, bound or free, the gospel of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ is free to all. Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the go
