THE BALANCED APPROACH TO MISSIONS

E t h a n   D a u d a   Y u s u f Am I successful in my ministry and calling? Is my success measured by the size of my worship centre, the number of my church members, the amount of tithes and offerings? Who sets the standard? Before we answer the above questions, let's consider the words of Jesus Christ in the gospel of Matthew 28. "18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen" The above scripture clearly states what Jesus Christ require from us. The mandate is to make disciples. How do we do this. Firstly, to baptize them, this symbolizes initiation into the body of Christ. The second is teaching them. Teaching does not simply mea...

THE NEED FOR TODAY

B  Y   D  A  V  I  D   M c  Q  U  E  L Depositphotos Blog That we live in dangerous times is no revelation. However, how we navigate through it must be by revelation. We should live happy lives, glorifying God and successfully preparing our kids to face the world ahead of them successfully also. Today, it is what you feel good that is truth.   The War Against Biblical Values It is fashionable now to dismiss any...

REPOSITIONING CAN MAKE YOU MORE EFFECTIVE

We absolutely give God thanks.   I tried to review the year, looking backwards at my pleasure and displeasure with the year. I also did try to see where I failed, underperformed or missed the mark both set by God or by my heart. I always like to do an honest self-appraisal. I bear in mind that either lavishing praises on myself or ignoring things that should be fixed are not to my advantage. Transparency may hurt but I stand to gain first before someone else.   Here are a few things that I came to a conclusion on: 1.       I need to make certain necessary adjustments or changes or repositioning either on my character, my commitment, my determination or my effort. This is non-negotiable. I cannot continue to do things the way I did and expect a diff...
