THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE ENABLER

Right from Genesis chapter 1 to Revelation22, the presence and manifestation of the Holy Spirit is prominent. The Spirit of God is not a silent observer but a key player in God's planning and execution. Jesus had an extraordinary ministry as he walked the face of the earth. It is interesting that Jesus at age 12 knew all he needed to know about God and the Scriptures. In the temple among the most learned, astute and law experts in the Sanhedrin he demonstrated superiority and excellence that the elders of Israel were left bewildered. One day, a melancholic but pragmatic Nicodemus was beyond curiosity, came to Jesus by night and honestly wanted  the truth. And he began to express his excitement about his observation. Jesus was not a man given to praises. He cut through the cheese and laid it out to him. John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh,...

FRIENDSHIP THAT WINS SOULS

BY  Z E N I T H A    V I C T O R I A    B A D A "You cannot excel in life if you want to go alone in life."                 Dr Jeffrey seif. I celebrate you all. The bible speaking "Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces. " Proverbs 13:20 MSG. We need to learn to define our friend-ship with people, we need to know the the kind of "friends" we are letting into our "ship", so that when the wind blows we cou...

The Harvest is Plentiful

The Republic of Guinea, with its capital Conakry in West Africa has 96% of its population as Muslims while a mere 2% are Christians. Even then, there is freedom of religion and Christians can hold meetings, evangelize and baptize freely without fear of persecution. The Republic of Chad, the nation of Niger are equally Islam dominated countries yet have a very high level of freedom of worship. Missionaries and believers could take advantage and preach the gospel while it is still permissive. Years ago a brother from Nigeria, a businessman that I know had some business deals in far away Mali. And since he was staying a couple of weeks, he decided to share his faith. It was effective. Within weeks he was able to leave behind 12 believers. He saw the need because he was conscious of the state of the field. He didn't just go to make money, he went also as God's ambassador in business. The Church today is lagging behind when you compare us to the foresight of Muslims...
